Hello sailfish families!

This is your week 8 update:

Great job to all of the swimmers who were at our last meet of the season! We are almost to the finish line, so here’s what is up ahead.

This will be our last week of regular practices for everyone.

All Star practices will be next week- TBD on time.

There is no meet Wednesday, July 15th, but we do have our team party at the pool (Potomac Station pool) at 5:00pm (correction from my previous email). Please be sure to RSVP for a final count for food:

Please come out for some pool fun with all of our sailfish families! Dinner will be served after the relays. We will also be recognizing our seniors, going through awards, and sharing our slideshow of our season to finish the night.

Divisional meet info:

Divisional meet is at Loudoun Valley Estates (Torpedoes) on Saturday July 18th at 8:00am. I am still waiting to hear what time our warm ups will be, so stay tuned for an email regarding that.

Also, reminder that the last practice for little sailfish will be this Wednesday July 15th! Thank you for a wonderful season Coach Hope and Coach Aaron!

And lastly, shoutout to our swimmers of the week:

-Blake Cusick- working hard on improving his strokes each practice

-Claire Haynes- her first season as a big and she has made great strides

-Max Nicholson- helpful on deck and playing a role as “assistant-assistant coach”
