Coach Tasha is so excited to be back for her third season with the
Sailfish as head coach. Prior to Potomac Station, Tasha also was an
assistant coach with the Red Rock Rockets for a year. She is looking
forward to seeing familiar faces again and meeting new swimmers. Coach Tasha enjoys watching the progression
of each swimmer throughout the season and their feeling of
accomplishment.
Throughout the year you may also see her on the
pool deck at Ida Lee or Ashburn Rec Center, as she also coaches with Machine Aquatics. When
not coaching, Tasha is a nurse for her day job. You may cross paths with
her at other sporting events with her kids, as she is in her “Sports
Mom Era” accompanying her kids to swim, soccer, basketball, or dance. Be
sure to say hello!
For fun, Tasha likes to read, workout, and
spend time with her family. She has 3 kids; Brody, Brock, and Brooklyn
who are all swimmers with the Sailfish!
She is looking forward to another great swim season ahead!
Adam is pumped to get back in the water and have an amazing season! This is his second year coaching for the Sailfish. Adam swam for 4 years on the Heritage High School Swim Team and was a Captain for his final year. Ever since he started mentoring for the PSS a few years ago, he has loved interacting with our younger swimmers and helping them grow over the course of the season. Adam just completed his freshman year at The College of William & Mary and is happy to be home for the summer and looking forward to a great summer swim season!
Coach Ava is back for another year of coaching. She coached for the Little Sailfish for the past 2 summers and is excited to be coaching for the big team. Ava swam for the Sailfish since she was little and also swam year round for Blue Waves and 4 years on Heritage High School swim team. She is looking forward to a great summer swim season.
