Hello Sailfish families!

Congrats on our first Sailfish WIN last Wednesday night vs Rivercrest! We had some time drops and some All Star cuts made! Way to go swimmers!

Just a few reminders as I’m sure many are enjoying the long holiday weekend.

***Declarations for next Wednesday, July 8th, at Loudoun Valley Estates Torpedoes  are DUE tonight, July 5th by 11:59pm.*** An email with information should have come out today regarding the meet. 

We are going into week 7 and we will continue to work on improving technique and endurance throughout the week. These last few weeks are going to fly, so here is what’s coming up:

Practices resume Monday July 6th.

Wednesday July 8th- there will be a pancake breakfast after each practice for swimmers!

Thursday July 9th- our Little Sailfish have their final meet at Exeter pool. Keep an eye out for an email from Coach Aaron and Coach Hope.

Our last meet will be Saturday July 11th at home (Potomac Station Pool) at 8:00am.

Wednesday July 15th- End of season party at Potomac Station Pool.

Divisional’s are Saturday July 18th- all swimmers swim this meet unless they have qualified for All Stars in 2 or more individual events. Swimmers who have one All Star cut time are eligible to swim at the divisional meet in all others events, other than the one they have made their all star cut time in. As a reminder, you must have attended two swim meets and have 2 times in each event you plan to swim in the divisional meet)

All Star meet will be held on Saturday 25th (for all of those swimmers who qualified with cut times in 2 or more individual events).

Please make sure swimmers have water on deck to rehydrate with during practice.
