Hello sailfish families!

Hope you all had a wonderful Fourth of July and enjoyed some time off! We had a fun meet last Wednesday, and even though we didn’t pull off a win, it was a great night for a meet!

Updates for the week:

Machine Aquatics coaches are joining us on Monday July 7th for all practices. Please welcome them to our pool for a great session on breaststroke and fly technique.

Meet on Wednesday July 9th versus the Lovettsville Dolphins (our last home meet)

Arrival time: 5:00pm

Theme: Neon/glow night

Please make sure your child is declared by midnight tonight!

** Our Swimmers will be allowed to swim after the meet since this is our last meet! We have some fun planned for after the meet!

REMINDER- We do ask that if your child is declared and does not show up to/cannot make the meet, that you please notify the coaching staff as soon as possible. Again, we plan relays according to who is declared to be there and it becomes a bit of a scramble to find replacements last minute.

Pancake breakfast will be Wednesday morning (July 9th) and will be ready after the first practice.

Mini meet this Thursday July 10th @ 9:00am at Potomac Station Pool. Coach Ava will send an email with information for the mini sailfish families. There will be NO big sailfish practice due to the mini meet, however we would love to have big sailfish attend to cheer on the mini’s.

*Mentors- please be sure to sign up if you plan to help at the meet*

*Timers- we would love to have help timing (Ages 10 and up are welcome)!
