Hi All

Earlier this year we were approached by the Red Rocks team to see if there was a way we could merge our teams. After consideration, we are very happy to be a home for the Red Rocks swimmers this year!

Of course, their swimmers will have a choice about which team they join, but the Red Rocks team will direct them to join the Sailfish once registration opens. Red Rocks will not have a team, and the ODSL has updated the schedule.

We anticipate no core changes to how our team operates. 

Some of our current families have swum for this team previously, and we know their neighborhood includes friends of Potomac Station swimmers. Ensuring our children can enjoy the summer swim experience with their friends, was a key consideration.

Another consideration was team size. We do have a guideline on the maximum number of swimmers for our team but based on the size of both teams from 2024, we do not expect this to be an issue.

We hope this will be exciting for you and contribute to the experience this summer.

Registration will open in April and we will communicate the opening date soon.
