Hello Sailfish families!

What a way to wrap up the season at Divisionals today! We ended up placing 2nd! We could not be more proud of how you all improved times, strokes, and your technique. We watched new swimmers learn to swim, swimmers learn flip turns and bucket turns and (most importantly) have fun! It was really nice to see everyone come together and make new friendships this season. 

Those who have made All-Stars: 

Practice will be starting Monday July 22nd from 9-10am. 

As for a quick(ish) note from me- I want to (again) say thank you to our mentors for helping with our minis and younger sailfish. Thank you to our mini coaches, Ava and Daniel, for helping our youngest swimmers develop a love for the water. Thank you to the Assistant coaches, Andre and Drew, for becoming pool operators and coming in early to make sure the water levels were good and help get our lane lines going before practice. Thank you for the cheering and motivation to get the kids pumped up for their races. Thank you for being willing to always hop in the water to help them work on strokes. To the board, you make the coaching part a breeze with all of your help and organization. Thank you for the opportunity with the Sailfish this summer! Finally, thank you families for allowing me to coach your swimmers this year. I had the best season building relationships with your kids and I hoped they enjoyed their time with me! I hope to see you all around throughout the year- and maybe even at Machine during the winter months.
