Hello Sailfish families,

Please see the message below from our head official Geoff Mansker.  We need your help to run our season and these are some great volunteer jobs that just require a little more training before you can do them.  But because of the required training we also give more 'points' to these jobs meaning your 25 point volunteer requirement will be reached with less hours actually volunteered!  

Parents - The Sailfish need you as a league official! These positions are an essential ingredient for our team and meets cannot happen without them. 

Stroke & Turn Judge – Observe each race for stroke and turn rule violations and report them to the Referee for swimmer disqualification. 

Starter – Start each race. 

Referee – Run the meet, assign and instruct officials, enforce rules, and decide questions. 

League training is required and provided free of cost. If you are current with a VHSL or USA Swimming certification, no additional training is required. New officials must serve one year as a Stroke & Turn Judge before becoming a Starter or Referee.
